We Will Miss You, Gino’s

This Saturday Gino’s closes its doors. We will especially miss the 65-year-old Lexington Avenue restaurant’s signature zebra wallpaper which can be spotted in chic rooms around the world and Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaums. Co-owner, Michael Miele says “arrivederci, but not goodbye.”

Picasso at the Met

One hundred years later, Pablo Picasso’s paintings are still inspiring. The Metropolitan Museum of Art currently has 300 works of his art on exhibit, spanning the master’s entire career, from a self-portrait he painted at the age of 18 to Standing Nude and Seated Musketeer, created when he was 87. In fact, the colors in the latter informed the palette in Tory’s Fall 2010 collection. See the paintings »
