Q: How do you like to set a table? — Tamsin, Chicago
A: Whether I’m dressing myself or a table, I love to mix colors and patterns. This summer I’ve been pairing different shades of blue with white. Since returning from a family vacation in Italy, I have been combining hand-painted Italian pottery with cobalt blue glasses. The combination makes for a great setting — casual but elegant.
On September 8 our Manhattan flagship at 797 Madison opens. In honor of this special opening we have designed the 797 handbag collection—available in a clutch, messenger or satchel (which can also be worn as a crossbody). Utilitarian in feel, the design was inspired by a vintage military bag found on a trip to Europe. The 797’s lush suede and rich leather materials are accented with Tory signature gold hardware and easily accessible interior pockets. We hope you love the collection and we look forward to seeing you at 797 Madison Avenue.

Our summer Flavor of the Week series continues with raspberry. We would love to paint a room the color of the Ronnybrook.
More inspiration from street artist James De La Vega. All of these sayings are on the facade of our new NYC flagship at 797 Madison which opens next week. Join the conversation by tagging Tory’s Twitter with your own favorite phrase and #TB_inspired #797 Madison.
