This is the man, of course, who gave us Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo?, a fashion film that is still referenced by the well-heeled flock. He also blended the photographic reportage styles of Henri Cartier-Bresson with an abstract lens, creating a new brand of street style photography that has inspired generations to come. In Celebration, published by La Fábrica, the photographer has selected the images he considers the best of his best. No small feat. It spans his work for Vogue in the 1950s and his seminal work capturing New York and Paris street life in the 1950s and 1960s.
