Tory first introduced the work of German photographer Walter Schels in the Resort 2024 collection, which featured his heroic animal portraits “Cat” (1994) and “Rabbit” (2000) on clean-lined pieces: a T-shirt, a denim skirt, wide trousers.

A long-time fan of Schels,’ Tory spun the idea into a concept shop, which opened earlier this year on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, a creative collaboration with Humberto Leon. Now the energy continues in a new limited-edition capsule with Schels’ “Cat” printed on our most-loved products: the Miller sandal, the Ella Bio tote, the T Monogram bucket bag and more.

The capsule was photographed on actress and cat-lover Maude Apatow (and her own cat Dolly) at our Corner Store pop-up in SoHo, a tribute to New York City’s iconic shops and their resident cats.
