The collection started with the idea of undone femininity, also reflected in the hair and makeup. Hair stylist Guido Palau gave models a deep, side part with bangs casually swept over the forehead and secured just so by a single bobby pin. Palau used texturizing spray to give the tresses a teased, slightly flyaway quality that complemented the perfectly imperfect direction of the show. “To me, she looks like a Tory girl,” he explained. “Kind of pulled together but with a bit of irreverence.”

Makeup artist Diane Kendal and her team kept models’ faces simple and clean with just a hint of edge. She began with a base of “fresh luminous skin” using NARS Light Reflecting Foundation and Radiant Creamy Concealer and then added a bit of contouring and NARS Multiple cream blush. The finishing touch was a strong boyish brow, brushed and filled in with NARS Brow Perfecter.
