Continuing Tory’s reinterpretation of American sportswear, the Spring/Summer 2026 juxtaposed pristine tailoring with touches of romance, sentimentality and craft.

Undone Femininity
The collection explored different facets of women’s style – among them the ladylike and bourgeoise. These classical elements were interpreted with a subtle sense of irreverence, seen in intentionally undone details and askew proportions.

Beauty in Imperfection
Inspired by the idea of a treasured piece passed down through generations, opulent materials were designed to look worn-in and aged: wrinkled lamé, crushed viscose, shredded silk. These “imperfections” were done in the most perfect way: frayed edges were engineered to stay intact and sheer polos were meticulously “mended” with seed beads.

Say My Name
A few looks in the collection featured a special embroidery – the monogrammed initials and names of the entire design team in a traditional script-like Arabesque style. A nod to sampler embroidery and the history of women gathering over crafts to discuss the issues of the day.
