We continue the holiday celebrations with Part II of our Thanksgiving tastemaker series with Tory Daily friends near and across-the-pond far.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory…
Taking my kids to the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City with family and friends. In order to get a good seat we would walk across the park from the East Side and then climb up the back of the bleechers!

This year we’ll be celebrating…
Well, it’s my third year in England for Thanksgiving. The first year all the Americans got together and collaborated on a big dinner for 60 people! Then last year I had a lot going on so we pretended it didn’t exist. That was a little sad so I think this year I’ll do a traditional turkey meal for my family and some friends who will be visiting from America.

I usually decorate the table with…
Anything colorful left over from the garden!

My favorite dish…
The pies! I’m always in charge of the pecan pie.

This year I’m feeling most thankful for…
My family’s health and my children both settling well into new schools this year.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory…
Sneaking (many) bites of my mother’s stuffing before dinner.

This year we’ll be celebrating…
By heading up to San Francisco and Napa with my family.

I usually decorate the table with…
Lots of candles and gorgeous platters and platters of delicious food.

My favorite dish…
The day-after turkey sandwich!

This year I’m feeling most thankful for…
Good health.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory…
My favorite Thanksgivings were spent at my parents’ home in Brooklyn as a child. I still have vivid memories of waking up early morning to the sounds and smells of the preparations taking place in the kitchen: my aunts, mother and grandmother making gravy and chatting in their mix of Italian and English, the smells of butter melting, garlic browning and fresh coffee brewing. It was enough to get me out of bed and downstairs before the sun was even up.

This year we’ll be celebrating…
This year is particularly special, as we are hosting our relatives from Milano. I’m looking forward to someone else doing the cooking, but we’ll see if that actually pans out.

I usually decorate the table with…
I like setting a warm, colorful table at this time of year. I always use nice, natural linens and decorate with pumpkins and squash.

My favorite dish…
I love to do a turkey roulade. I cook the dark meat slowly (confit), add some stuffing and wrap the breast around it. I tie it all up tight and cook it slowly. Thanksgiving is all about slow-cooking dishes — it’s the best way to bring out flavor.

This year I’m feeling most thankful for…
I’m most thankful for my healthy parents, loving relationship and great friends — also for getting paid to do what never quite seems like a “job.”

This year we’ll be celebrating…
By spending Thanksgiving with our families who are flying in from Arkansas and Quebec.

We usually decorate the table with…
Centerpieces that are wine crates filled with fall foliage, pomegranates, pumpkins, gourds and sunflowers. We have vintage brass pheasants (that we are selling on A2B Table) that make the table so unique.

Our favorite dish…
We have two. The first is our three-day brined, herbed-butter stuffed turkey. And the other is Brussels sprout hash. Both recipes are on our site.

This year we’re feeling most thankful for…
The health of our husbands and children!

Hotelier, Sunset Tower Hotel

My favorite Thanksgiving memory…
Playing football with my dad.

This year I’ll be celebrating by…
Eating my heart out!

I usually decorate the table with…
Whatever autumnal paraphernalia I can find — leaves, branches, etc.

My favorite dish…
Pumpkin pie. Yum.

This year I’m feeling most thankful for…
All the love in my life beginning with John, my husband, my mom, dad, brother, his family, my friends, etc. I’m the richest guy on earth because of all this love.
