Our beauty experts share their secrets to recreating the Fall/Winter 2017 runway look at home.

MAKEUP
Diane Kendal for MAC

The Inspiration
A fresh-faced beauty from Philly.

The Look
Beautiful and fresh. Flush cheeks. Really soft and dewy lips.

The Eyes
A soft smokey eye. Define the eye with liner, following the shape of the eye close to the lash — then, using your finger, just blend it out. Use a little bit of highlighter pressed into the inner corners of the eye. Curl the lashes and apply mascara but just on top. Brush the eye brows and fill in where necessary.

The Cheeks
Apply a lip and cheek tint to the apple of the cheek with a brush — it gives you more control than a finger — and add a tiny bit of highlighter on the cheekbones.

The Lip
A lip conditioner or lip balm.

NAILS
Kim D’Amato for Priti NYC

The Look
A very clean fresh nail. We’re using Pearl Drift — it’s sheer with a light pink base.

The Steps
One coat of Pearl Drift and then just a top coat. It’s very simple.

The Shape
A squoval — a square oval. Filed and clean.

Nail Care Tips
Cuticle oil because the weather has been so dry. Just put it on and rub in at the end of the nails, every night when you get home. And moisturize with hand creams.

Other Fall/Winter 2017 Trends
I’m seeing a lot of dark blue and a lot of nail art with silver or gold stripes.
