French-Vietnamese actor, artist and former model Loan Chabanol knows how to summer in the eternal city, aka Rome. She’s currently based in Los Angeles, where from her artist’s studio she creates soothing abstract acrylic paintings and charming illustrations (Check out @Loanimation). End of the day around five in the afternoon, when the sun is about to set and the water is still warm. It reminds me of many summers I spent with my best friend.

One-piece or two-piece swimsuit…

One-piece because it feels sophisticated to me. I love the idea of being dressed up even when you are wearing a bathing suit.

Best place for dinner…

Taverna Trilussa in Rome. The best pasta in the world! You have to order the black truffle dish.

Don’t leave Rome without…

Eating gelato, seeing the Piazza Navona and visiting the Colosseum at night. Rome is a museum on its own, just like Paris.
