The Editor-at-Large for Vogue Turkey tells us all about her getaway to sunny, seaside Bozburun.

Where I’m going…
Bozburun, Turkey

What I’m packing…
Swimsuits, flat sandals, lots of sunscreen, my camera, books, ethnic bijoux, authentic tops and caftans, my captain hat and a selection of my vintage sunglasses.

During the day I will…
Swim, sunbath, sail and wakeboard.

At night I will…
Have dinner at Bozburun Yacht Club (great home food, local meze and fish) or go to Symi Island, which is very close, and have a Sirtaki night at Manos’ Fish Restaurant.

Game I like to play…
Backgammon

Favorite summer cocktail…
Wine, martinis and, of course, raki with dinner.

Books I’m packing…
Party of the Century: The Fabulous Story of Truman Capote and His Black and White Ball by Deborah Davis, High Price: Art Between the Market and Celebrity Culture by Isabelle Graw, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol by Warhol and Infinity Net by Yayoi Kusama.

On my playlist…
The Drums, The Rapture, Metronomy, Belle & Sebastian, Warpaint, Nicolas Jaar, Holy Ghost! and Brandon Flowers.

Travel tip…
There is this little fish restaurant Orfoz with delicious food, but take cash with you as no credit cards are accepted.

Secret only a local would know…
Bozburun Yacht Club owns the very famous catamaran that was used in the movie The Thomas Crown Affair! Definitely sail with it!
