Composer, DJ and producer Wladimir Schall created an airy, edgy soundtrack of synth-y electronica and instrumentals that brought a subtly clubby vibe to the glass-domed venue, Skylight at the Refinery in Brooklyn’s famed Domino Sugar factory .The first looks walked out to Cid Rim’s atmospheric “Surge,” before Schall shifted into “Spacer Woman” by 1970s British band Charlie, “Apocalypso” by ’80s duo Chris & Cosey and “Dance Yrself Clean” by LCD Soundsystem. Schall looped around to “Spacer Woman” to close the show, accompanying models in looks with a certain undone elegance. Perhaps not from outer space, but certainly a new vision of femininity and form.
